“BRAZIL meets RUSSIA”
Welcome Matrioshka! A new lucky mascot in our
collection..
Everybody knows them, but the true story behind these popular dolls is not
really well known, but something worth telling! Each and everyone of these
wooden dolls is an unique peace of handmade art. It finds it use as a
favorite toy for children, souvenir and lucky charm - all different colour,
form and motive, depending on the artist who made them or region they are
coming from. Matrioshkas belong to Russia just like caviar and vodka, but in
fact, as nobody knows, it is not a russian invention. The roots you`ll find
in Japan. The japanese original is named Fukurama and is reprensenting the
devinity Fukurokuju. Fukurokuju is one of the seven God`s of luck and is
honoured all through Japan and China. Fukurokuju represents wisdom, luck and
a long life. Fuku luck, roku wealth and ju long life...
Good luck, may all your wishes come true! You will find more items of our
"Brasil meets Russia" collection at your local retailer or here in our Shop.
